1. About Our Service

boroboro provides clothing repairs, alterations, and creative reworks.

Every item is handled with care, skill, and attention, but results can vary depending on the age, fabric, and condition of the item.


2. Sending Your Items

You are responsible for sending your items to us safely.

If posting, please use tracked delivery.

We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during postage to our studio.

Once we receive your item, we’ll confirm it has arrived.


3. Free Local Collection & Drop-Off (Reading Only)

If you’re in Reading, we offer free collection and drop-off.

You agree to be available at the arranged time, or to provide a safe location for collection.


4. Quotes & Pricing

We aim to give clear, upfront prices.

If your item needs extra work, we will always agree this with you before going ahead.

Prices may vary depending on fabric, complexity and condition.


5. Turnaround Times

We give estimated turnaround times, but they are not guaranteed.

Delays can happen due to workload, item complexity, or material availability.

If your order is needed urgently, please let us know before booking.


6. Creative Reworks

Reworks are creative transformations.

You agree that final results may differ slightly from sketches, photos, or ideas — this is part of the creative process.

Once a rework has begun, we cannot reverse it.


7. Repairs & Alterations Disclaimer

Some fabrics are delicate, stretched, worn, or weakened.

We will always advise if there is a risk involved, but you accept that:

  • repairs may not be invisible

  • old or fragile fabrics may react unpredictably

  • original stitching or seams may not match perfectly

  • certain alterations have limits based on the garment’s construction


We will never continue with work if we believe it may damage your item without your permission.


8. Payment

Payment is required before final delivery or before we post your item back.

We accept card, bank transfer, or online payment links.


9. Posting Items Back to You

We return items using tracked postage.

Once shipped, we are not responsible for postal delays or lost parcels.

Please ensure your address details are correct.


10. Returns & Refunds

Because repairs and alterations are custom services, we do not offer refunds.

If you are unhappy with the result, please contact us within 7 days and we will offer a free adjustment or fix where possible.

Reworks are non-refundable because they involve irreversible changes.


11. Uncollected Items

Items not collected or paid for within 90 days may be donated or recycled, as we cannot store garments long-term.


12. Photos & Portfolio Use


We may photograph your items before/after for our portfolio or social media.

If you prefer your item not to be shared, just let us know — no problem at all.


13. Customer Responsibility

When sending us an item, you confirm that:

  • the garment belongs to you

  • you understand the risks involved in repair/alteration

  • you approve any agreed changes
